A quick question that I can't seem to find the answer for...
I'm trying to deploy VDP appliance version 6.1 in our production vCenter to target and backup another one of our standalone vCenters. It appears that we get an error when trying to register against the other vCenter stating that the VDP Appliance can't be found in the vCenter inventory (because it's deployed elsewhere).
Does anyone know if this is possible? Failing that, any suggestions on how to back up a few VM's in 1 vCenter to another vCenter? vSphere Replication could work I suppose...
