We are planning on moving to vCenter 6.1 once released and are currently using VDP with our existing vCenter. I know from looking at it that moving the appliance itself is not very hard, however, I do not wish to lose all of my backup jobs in the process. I have over 800 jobs across several appliances and recreating them would be extremely time consuming.
Is there any known way to move my appliances into the new vCenter and maintain the backup up jobs?
We are connected to a Data Domain with checkpoint backup enabled if that makes a difference.
