Detected an invalid snapshot configuration....

Hello all.

I have Googled the issue, but was unable to solve it with the suggestions.

A bit of info:

I have 2 VMware ESXi version 6.0.0 build 3620759

Between the 2 hosts i have a replication (Veeam), and during a replica, the server ran out of space.

I freed up som space, and got things working.

Afterwards my Veeam replics and backup of VM's on that server started failing.

I removed the VMware snapshots of the running hosts, and ran a consolidation.

Trying to make a snapshot, i get the error:

"Detected an invalid snapshot configuration"

Afterwards i tried, among theese things:
- Reboot a VM.

- Shutdown and start a VM.

- Shutdown and moving the vmsd file to a new location.

- Snapshot, same error.

- Consolidating the VM, same error.

- With the VM running, moving te vmsd file to a new location and make a new snapshot. Same error.

The content of the vmsd file is:

.encoding = "UTF-8"

snapshot.lastUID = "1914"

So i found this article on VMware:

VMware Knowledge Basehttps://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1026043

I'm a bit stuck as i cant reboot the server, and im not sure if i need to reboot. But i logged in using SSH, and i found the Vmid.

The reload command dident work.

What i'm seeking, is any other solutions, whare i dont have to reboot.
And it is ESXi version 6, and it doesent seem to have the same tech Support mode.

Or maby a confirmation that i'm on the right path.
