Our VDP device is failing Nexpose (Rapid7) Security Scans because the SSL certificate on port 443 needs to be changed. The VDP admin guide describes securing other ports that handle communication between VDP and vCenter Server, but not port 443.
I know it can be done, because a Linux savvy person did this for me a year ago, but I don't have contact with him anymore. In fact, the certificates on the VDP appliance in our case are not the defaults, they are the custom certificates we obtained from a a commercial certificate authority last year. Problem is we've changed domains, so the name no longer matches the host FQDN.
Anyone have experience changing SSL certificates in VDP or in a Linux box in general?
Thanks in advance.
